Dear Community,
The beginning of the year always comes with pressure.
New goals.
New vision.
New expectations.
And somewhere in all of that, there’s this quiet question:
“Am I actually prepared for what I’m asking for?”
Because it’s one thing to want more.
It’s another thing to be ready to handle it.
And I’ve learned this the hard way—
if you don’t plan with intention, you will move through the year without direction.
Scripture
“Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
— Habakkuk 2:2
💗 Planning — More Than Just Goals
We talk about goals all the time.
But planning is deeper than that.
Planning is:
💗 getting clear about what you actually want
💗 being honest about where you are right now
💗 creating structure behind your vision
Because without structure, vision stays an idea.
And ideas don’t change your life—
execution does.
💗 My Experience
There were seasons where I had vision… but no real plan.
I knew what I wanted.
I knew what I was capable of.
But I wasn’t organized in how I moved.
💗 I was reacting instead of leading
💗 I was busy but not always productive
💗 I had goals, but no clear system behind them
And what I realized is this:
You can have the vision…
and still delay your own progress if you don’t map it out.
Once I started getting intentional—writing things down, structuring my time, being clear about my next steps—everything shifted.
Not overnight.
But consistently.
💗 Exploration of the Scripture
“Write the vision.”
Not think about it.
Not talk about it.
Not keep it in your head.
Write it.
And not just write it—but make it plain.
That means:
💗 clear
💗 direct
💗 understandable
Why?
Because when things are clear, you can move.
When things are unclear, you hesitate.
God is not the author of confusion.
So if your vision feels scattered, it’s time to simplify it.
💗 Life Application
This is your reset.
Not just to dream—but to define.
Ask yourself:
💗 What do I actually want this year?
💗 What needs to change in my habits?
💗 What systems do I need to put in place?
Then write it.
Not perfectly.
Not all at once.
But intentionally.
Because clarity creates movement.
💗 The Challenge
This week, I want you to sit down and do one thing:
Write your vision—and make it plain.
💗 Break it into real, actionable steps
💗 Remove anything that feels confusing or overwhelming
💗 Focus on what actually matters
And most importantly:
💗 Commit to it
Because planning isn’t about control—
it’s about alignment.
💗 Closing
You don’t fail because you’re not capable.
Most times, you fail because you weren’t prepared.
And preparation starts with clarity.
So don’t just step into this year with excitement—
step into it with intention.
Write it.
Make it plain.
And move with purpose.
